FOR HELPS TO PROVIDERS, go to the cdhs website link listed directly below. Look to the column on the left-hand side of the page. Click on 'Family Child Care Home Providers' and 'Child Care Resource Packet'. Both of these links will give you helpful information.

If providers would like to see a copy of their record with Child Care Licensing, go to www.cdhs.state.co.us/childcare. Scroll down the paragraphs to "Licensing Histories of Child Care Facilities" and follow the directions. This is the same information parents would see.

FYI: If a provider renews their Universal Precautions and Medication Administration classes, those hours can be counted in their yearly re-licensing credit hour totals. This is only the case if the provider has already taken these classes when they initially earned their license. CPR and First Aid class hours, initial or renewed, cannot be counted in yearly re-licensing credit hour totals.

PPRFCCA Members: Please keep your referral coordinator informed of any openings you may have, including any changes in your program, (i.e.: pets, transportation, before school care, night care, 24 hour care, etc). When parents call, we like to give them the most current information we can. Parents also get our referral number from this website as well as other internet sources.
